The TL2843 family of control integrated circuits is designed for off-line or DC-to-DC fixed-frequency current-mode control schemes with minimal external components. It features an undervoltage lockout (UVLO) with a start-up current of less than 1 mA and a precision reference trimmed for accuracy at the error amplifier input. Other internal circuits include logic for latched operation, a pulse-width modulation (PWM) comparator for current-limit control, and a totem-pole output stage capable of sourcing or sinking high-peak current. The output stage is low when in the off state.
